The life of the Mattson kids

We finished off the school year and are ready for the summer! Caitlyn will be in fourth grade (gasp!), Lauren in second, and Emma in her last year of preschool. Poor James! Some highlights of the spring: Caitlyn and Lauren got their ears pierced through heavy-duty persuasion (ALL the girls have their ears pierced so it seems), I went with Rachel to a fun St.Louis reunion with our old ward and got to see Nathan's adorable new twins, and Lauren got a new family member- a kitten! She was Mia, but then became Mio after a trip to the vet determined the absence of lady parts. Lauren is responsible for all the feeding and poopy-scooping and is doing a great job. The surprising part is that Mio and Ellie have become best friends!

Easter in Wisconsin

We went back to Wisconsin for Spring Break and had fun getting spoiled by the grandparents. It was a little cold, so there was no fishing since the lake was covered in ice. The girls were attached to their cousins the whole time, and we were happy Rachel could come. She was a BIG help on the long drive. We are so ready for warm weather!!

Valentine's Day

Luaren's 7th Birthday

It's all about Hannah Montanna and Webkinz. They're all the rage among little girls. Lauren tells me she's in a Hannah Montanna club at recess, and she has Webkinz parties with her sisters. The house will soon be overflowing with them! James enjoyed a little treat while we opened presents. Does wax have any nutrients?
