After seeing Caitlyn and Lauren off on the first day of school, Emma sat on the front porch and with big tears said she wanted her sisters. I said, "But Emma, you have your brother to play with. Isn't he fun?" At that moment James hit her on the head with a stick. The look on Emma's miserable little face was priceless.

they look so old...they've grown since july. i am so sad. abe had a hard time that otho was going to school to, so i signed him up for drop-off storytime at the library. he wouldn't go in at first, but now, he says to otho, "ha ha, my school is at the library." i think he feels empowered.
April, this is great. I hope you don't mind but I find you off of Robyn's page. I love Emma's and James' response to the girls starting school! How fitting that he hit her. Poor thing is stuck with "a boy" for a while. Hope you are doing well.
Patrick and April,
Loved seeing photos of the kids. Preparing to move forward with the project from a few years ago. Please send phone numbers and current e mail address.
